I got my first chance to visit Anne Marie and her beautiful farm this past weekend. I had a nice time looking at creative decor, beautiful antiques, hand-made clothing, french pastries, and a lot of beautiful, friendly women. I'm so glad I got the chance to attend the Na-Da Farm Event, and I will be sure to be back May 20th for the next one! Thank you, Anne Marie, and your creative friends, for a great evening!
My daughter, Jessica, modeling my hand-made smock by Anne Marie. Please ignore my sink full of soaking dishes.
The plate is prettier than the photo shows.
Thank you so much for becoming a Parisienne Farmgirl follower! I know it takes time to keep up with your favorite websites and I appreciate you reading mine!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd OH MY GOSH! You bought "my" plate! Isn't it lovely? The little raised roses on the edge and all? I am so happy it has a good home. I own a navy blue Elizabeth from Anne Marie - I love it!
Fondly,
Angela, the Parisienne Farmgirl

Thanks, Angela! The plate is so pretty! I'm really enjoying the photos and ideas on your blogs, and in the circle of bloggers that are posting. I feel a bit like a voyeur, but I'm getting the most amazing ideas for my own home, plus a renewed interest in discovering my own creativity. Thanks for your beautiful blogs!
ReplyDeleteHi Amari!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!! I love that area of Indiana/Michigan...we just never seem to have enough time to stop and really enjoy the little towns to the fullest.
You are SO lucky to have gone to Anne Marie's event. I had the feeling we wouldn't be home but I think spring will be a better time for me. SO glad you had fun!
XO,
Janie

Thank you, Janie, Balisha, and Sue! I missed last May's Barn event by just a day or two, but managed to make it to the most recent one. Yes, Anne Marie is amazing! She is so gracious and inspiring. I feel so fortunate to live close to her and I will be sure to be there again next May 20th. Thanks for the comments. Blogging is new to me, but so much fun!! There are so many talented, friendly women on these blogs! Thanks for your comment about my daughter, Balisha! She's a sweet girl with a huge heart. ♥
ReplyDeleteHi Amari... What a pretty daughter you have and I love the color on your walls, too, of course. :) You can come sit at my dining room table any day of the week (as you mentioned at my blog)! I'd love to chat with you or we could just sit and look out the bay windows at our orchard. :) To see more photos of our tiny farm you can go here:
